The Role: Certified Passivhaus Designer

The Challenge: Designing for the harsh, salt-heavy environment of the Tasmanian coast while meeting the stringent thermal requirements of the Passive House standard.

The Strategy: We conducted deep-dive PHPP modelling to optimise the building orientation and envelope. Our focus was on thermal bridge-free detailing, high-performance glazing selection and a sound ventilation strategy to ensure the home remains a stable 20-25deg even in the depths of a southern winter.
