A Collaborative Design Process
We believe a successful project is born from a handshake. We recommend collaborating with a preferred builder from the earliest stages of design to ensure budget alignment and construction feasibility. We’ve developed strong relationships with the best builders in Tasmania and Perth and consider them integral to the success of our projects. If you do not have a preferred builder in mind that’s OK, we will make recommendations for you to consider.
Investment Review
This is our first step in the design process and arguably the most important. Prior to signing a design proposal with us, we will complete an investment review with you to ensure your project aspirations are in line with current market conditions and resource availability. This process will outline a holistic project budget taking into account your brief, architectural, consultant & authority fees, and an initial forecast of the Cost of Works for your project. We typically complete the investment review with your preferred builder.
Concept Design & 3D Visualisation
This stage includes a detailed brief collection workshop and site assessment, preliminary review of planning conditions, design research, sketching, concept design presentation, budget estimate (by builder), budget review and final concept design changes. Your project will be modelled in 3D and we will provide access to a 3D model viewer so that you can fully understand the design.
Design Development & Interior Design
We engage specialist consultants as required to contribute their knowledge to the project and continue to develop more detail in the design. We also commence the interior design process with a brief collection workshop. Once we have completed the Interior Design stage you will have a complete understanding of the look and feel of your project from the inside to out.
Development Application
We prepare and review the architectural documentation and specialist consultant information required to submit the project for a Development Application.

Construction Documentation
This is where we like to flex. We finalise every technical detail and coordinate all specialist consultants into a single, holistic set of drawings. For the building team, this is a clear, high-detail 'instruction manual' that reduces risk and streamlines the build process.
On-Site Support & Administration
Our role doesn’t end at the drawing board. We provide active construction design support, responding to site queries and ensuring the architectural and technical integrity of the project is maintained until the keys are handed over. For the home-owner we are there to guide you through the process and ensure the design details are carried through on site as intended. For the builders, we actually answer your calls and treat you as a part of the team.
